Architectural History:
Zimmerschied Architecture was established in 2012, in Lawrence Kansas, by an architect with nearly 25 years of professional architectural experience in a variety of project types. These include new construction and renovation projects in excess of $20 millions dollars in construction value. Jay Zimmerschied has a breadth of experience that includes public safety fire, commercial office, commercial retail, student housing, primary and post secondary education, religious and institutional projects. Jay understands the nature of design and its Owner driven nature and is bale to extract the necessary information to assist the Owner in realization of a facility that exceeds the Owner’s needs and desires.
Architectural Philosophy:
Architecture is and must be an extension of each clients individual desire to tailor the built environment to positively affect their ability to provide services to their communities. Design must be client drive so that the built form responds uniquely to that agency’s operational needs, which eleicits a project that is affordable, efficient, highly functional and of lasting value.
